Today, Friday, is a day of bad news. Eddie's colon has ruptured and the toxic waste is causing the infection in his boby. At this time they are treating the infection with antibiotics. If they operate Eddie could be sedated for a while (one to two weeks) and may not recover. At best it would be three weeks before he would be able to resume chemo treatments. Yesterday when my family and I were at the hospital Eddie was in good spirits. He was talking to everyone, laughing and giving humorous comments. Please keep Eddie and the family in your prayers.
